Orthographic projection, also known as parallel projection, is a method of graphic projection that is used to create two-dimensional representations of three-dimensional objects. In orthographic projection, the object is projected onto a plane parallel to one of its faces. This results in a drawing that shows the object as if it were viewed from directly above, below, or to the side.
